Sivan Shahav

Sivan Shahav, born in 1964 in Tehran, Iran.

Immigrated to Israel in 1988 with her husband Ezra and son Danny and gave birth to her daughter Riki in Israel. Lives in the city of Holon.

Sivan, has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree in special education.

Over the years she also studied and worked in interior design, graphics, real estate brokerage as well as in the field of art and aesthetics.

Sivan also studied at the Adler Institute and graduated there in 2010

Sivan manages a group on the social network “Facebook”. Called: Preservation and spread of Iranian culture in Israel – Iranian culture The group was joined by thousands of people from all over the world and today it has about 20,000 members. which are all members of the community or those who support it and its activities. The general public encouraged her activity.

in 2020 –

On the initiative and resourcefulness of Sion, 6 statues were brought to Israel from Tehran – of the designers of world culture in Iran – the statues were placed in the HIT technology center in Holon. A delegation of famous Jews from the United States arrived in Israel for the celebration of the removal of the lot, and members of the Knesset also participated in the ceremony.

in 2021 –

There was a meeting with the Iranian prince abroad, which led to the initiation of additional activities.

One of the activities is the restoration of the Queen’s robe, on the day of her coronation.

The cloak – presented to Zion – 2,500 years of the reign of the kings in Iran. It was exhibited at the museum center in Jerusalem 2021_22 for a whole year – to deepen the connection and the bridge and peace and the future of the two nations.

The Mishkan Association for Iranian Culture in Israel

In 2021 – Sivan initiated and founded the “Mishkan Association for Iranian Culture in Israel”.Sion, the chairman of the association since its foundation. And since then she has organized dozens of distinguished events, which were covered and published by many reporters from Israel and the world.In recent months Sivan joined another activity in which she hopes to contribute to the “Holon City Council”,Under the leadership of the candidate, Anat Kinuri.Due to the war that broke out on October 7, 2023, the elections were postponed, but the ideas and projects continue and her voluntary activity among the community mainly, has not stopped.Among the main issues that Sivan sees before her eyes and works to promote:

• Promoting the status of women – producing an event in honor of Women’s Day with female soldiers in Holon
